Welcome
Woodcroft Farm lies in the Pennine District of Northern England, in the valley of Weardale. Woodcroft is in the dale where the river Wear begins its journey before passing through the historic city of Durham and reaching the sea at Sunderland.
Our family have farmed at Woodcroft since 1947 and have developed Woodcroft into a leading livestock farm. As well as the main activity of breeding sheep and cattle Woodcroft maintains eco-friendly, and conservation practices, and welcomes interested visitors.
The Weardale Way is a popular walk which runs through our farm and is enjoyed by many ramblers. Footpaths are clearly marked, and maps are available from the local information centre.
